Neisha Cherry, the founder and owner of DC Energy, has been working behind the scenes in the energy industry for over a decade. As she worked in various administrative positions, she saw firsthand the challenge of having a contract but not enough resources to get the job done on time and within budget. Between her on-the-job experience and watching her father, Jerome Davis, work in the powerline construction industry, Neisha has learned what works, what doesn’t, and what is absolutely vital to the success of a project. So, combining her administrative expertise and “the family business”, she has developed her network and streamlined her systems and processes to set out on her own. With the launch of DC Energy, Neisha’s mission is to be an efficient, reliable resource to utilities and construction companies in need of services or skilled labor.
